This work, entitled "What is Essential Is Invisible to the Eye", was created by Biopsy Art, which team members mostly come from medical field. It includes art-like images of pathological specimens to demonstrate medical theories in simple terms, as well as to poetically tell the stories of the sufferings. With the visual experience bearing a strong connection to fine arts exhibition, the work reminds us to be aware of the silent but health-hazard fine particulate matter (PM2.5) in the air. It also provides an understanding of the different diseases of the respiratory system caused by PM2.5 and calls on people to remain vigilant and to remember that it is sometimes what we don't see that is most important.
