The legend of Faust is the basic concept of this short film. The behavior of modern industry is an analogy for the selling of one's soul (Earth's resources) and making a pact with the devil (satisfying human material desires). The film begins with this legend to remind audiences to remain reverent toward Mother Nature. As the soul looks down from the skies at the overdevelopment of Taiwan's western coastline, its monologue complements the images to construct a unique narrative style. Through alternative drone photography methods the issue of air pollution is interpreted to provide inspiration for reflective thought.
